I personally had this phone for over 2 years and there are few things that bothered me about it
Pros:
* nice LCD screen
* volume was loud enough
* speakerphone was useful
* VERY durable
* big screen
CONS:
* it holds a limited amount of photos
* no video (main reason why i'm upgrading)
* can hold about 4 downloaded songs
I had to switch out my phone numerous times for a replacement because of various mishaps but overall it is okay but its nothing you can be impressed about.

Both Sides Now
It's not easy to objectively review a phone, or anything else, for that matter. It seems that most people are incapable of setting aside personal likes and dislikes in favor of simply reviewing what's there and how well (or not well) it works. Listing the color of the phone as one of its cons isn't going to earn your opinion much credibility.
Fortunately, the LG C2000 has made things easy for me.
If taking photos is important to you, stay away from this phone. The memory that's been allocated for pictures will allow you to store perhaps 15 of them, and the photo quality is average at best.
Those of you who actually use your phone for, you know, making calls, will be glad to hear that the C2000 has a clear, loud earpiece along with solid reception. I get a clear connection even in my isolated neighborhood, which is nine miles from a Cingular tower, over forested terrain. (For you kids, that means lots of trees.)
PROS:
+ Loud earpiece
+ Fine reception
+ Crisp STN screen, vibrant colors
+ Solid construction, no creaks or rattles
+ Clouds are cool
CONS:
- Limited customization
- Not enough space for photos
I've heard a lot of complaints about this phone, and certainly some of them must be valid, but I've had no problems with it at all. I tend to only review phones that I like, and the C2000 has surprised me with its fine call quality, good reception, and dashing demeanor. Get hold of one, if you can.

Worse phone ever, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
I've had this phone for a year now and totally hate it. The first day I had it I started to get dropped calls. Took it back to store and was told that it was just the area and things would get better. I've been on the phone with the service techs so many times that they probably know my name. I've threatened to throw it thru the window of at least two cingular stores because of the irration of dropped calls, missed calls or calls not going thru. When it drops a call you don't even know it and it just goes back to the main window. I spent over an hour and a half just this evening complaining about it and demanding that they send me a new different phone. Not gonna happen, sending another and I told them I had better not have the same problems but am pretty sure that I will. What is worse is that I live less than a mile from a cell tower and still can't get into it.

THIS PHONE SUCKS
Only had this phone for 2 months and both mine and my husband's is malfunctioning. They keep powering off by themselves and sometimes won't come back on. I HATE IT!

Lg C2000 FREE can't go wrong
This was a free phone for a new contract and you can't go wrong for "free". It was great call quality, it never dropped as of yet. Texting is easy, you can get 1 button access to text, MMS, camera, folders and phonebook, what more is there. Camera is very good even when I emailed it to my computer and used the pic for a wallpaper its nice and clear. The battery is average w/how you use it. The only thing lacking is the memory campacity, i use MP3 ringers and you need to trim them down to only a few seconds but no big deal because it loud enough to hear and you will have to answer it anyway or mute it by pressing the arrow keys. The screen is nice a big for detailed screensavers, I like it.
PROS:size, weight, quality for price(FREE), loud ringers
CONS:low memory, slow software reaction

I HATE THIS PHONE WITH A PASSION
I think that this is the worst phone money could buy! I upgraded from a motorola that worked fine but desided to get another LG and was very disapointed with my desision.
pro's.

con's.
the camera is the worst*turning the image upside down and floresant green*
the battery life is poor
cant delete voicemails with the 7 key
doesnt tell me when i have a missed call or message
not a loud speaker phone.
I am upgrading again to the motorola razr.
i dont recamend this phone to anyone! if you want a LG stick to the basic c1300i. i had that phone and never had a problem with it

You can't download pics to your PC
I got this phone for my step-daughter, and she really likes it, except for the camera flaw. I've searched & searched, without success, to find a remedy. Apparently this phone REQUIRES you to use the Cingular rip-off service to get your pics to your PC! Total crap! To add insult to injury, you also can't upload your own ringtones with any cable/software you can find. I'm on a quest here at PhoneScoop to find a replacement that'll do what I want it to (I might even skip all of the offerings from LG). Hope this helps someone.

lg 2000
ive had my lg 2000 for about 5 months its cool and fun but after a while the it just get boring i find the lg 2000 to simple. its goo for some1 who just want a basic fone.
pros:-loud
-big screen
-very user friendley
cons:-camera sucks
- the fone it not very customizable
-it has a cheap feeling to it
-the battery life it not very good
this fone might be good as a first fone or as a back up fone. i dont really recommend this fone

The Echo Phenomenom
This phone is a great phone, if you never call anybody, because there is a really bad echo. When you turn up the earpiece volume so you can hear who you're talking to, that person experiences a really bad echo, but if you turn it back down, the echo stops, but then you can't hear the person you are tallking to...

Cons:
BAD Echo Effect
I have had two of these phones, and they have both done it continuously. So, do not buy the LG!
