Motorola Finally got it right!

Sep 23, 2004 by janatwedt

Well, I think Motorola finally got it right. The 2 models before it, 333 & 350, both had major issues. This 370 works awesome. We have been selling this phone for about 3-4 months and not one has come back!
Motorola perfected the battry style, increased the volume and added Java software. This phone can even accept MMS picture messages! The models before it were horrible, but this 370 is an excellent phone. This is the perfect example of getting the most for your money.
It took 3 tries but Motorola fiannly hit their target.

Not bad...

Feb 17, 2004 by ericsan

I've been using the Motorola C370 for awhile, and I have to admit this an upgraded model of the C333. Well of course motorola had done better on it, external battery, it increase the battery life! for my usage (around 2500 minutes a month) it can hold at least a day or so. For stand by time, it can hold to 3 or 4 days. Second thing that impressed me is the Ringtunes, it's louder than ever! However, lacking in the menus is making me unhappy...

All I can say, it's not a bad phone as an entry-level with color screen, especially when it's has 850mhz, then you can't go wrong!

Don't buy this phone

Mar 3, 2005 by thagler

I bought this phone for my wife thinking it'd be a cheap way to get her interested in mobile Internet, and for her to have new phone.

Pros:
1) Was free.

Cons:
1) It drops calls frequently (on the order of 1 out of 2). When it does keep the connection, the reception is lousy.
2) Rarely rings. Instead, she gets voice mail notification, which means minutes used to check the message, then additional minutes to make a return call.
3) The faceplate falls off frequently, killing the juice to the phone, and shutting it off.
4) The sound is awful -- talking to my wife on her phone is tough, as her voice gets clipped, making it difficult to have a conversation.
5) Dialing out always fails the first time.
6) Was free, but now stuck in a contract that we don't want for six more months.
