Pretty good phone

Nov 15, 2009 by xxhwarriorhxx

Reception....ok
Camera---vga best in the day, at night its ok
The phone overall is well solid phone feels sturdy in the hand. Love the voicedial feature!!
send quick mms and txt messages.

The bad= the display quality on the phone is not good. pictures look worse on the phone than what it actually is.
Also the side buttons on the phone, its very hard to guess which button will decrease and increase the call volume while being on the phone because the side buttons are flat with the phone, so you cant get a feel go for them in the dark.
over all phone is pretty good for 50.00 durable and it looks slick.

one of virgin mobile's best

Aug 14, 2008 by mudslinger83

one of vm's best...the most important things for me in a cell phone are good call and sound quality, reception, and loud ringtones since i work outside and i need to hear my phone ring...this phone performs all of the above except reception, they need to go back to the signal strength of the kyocera oystr.

pro's

reception is ok
call quality
ringtones are loud
bluetooth works good
camera
style, color
excellent battery life

con's

speakerphone needs
much improvement
reception is just ok

named Arc for a reason

First I will discuss the design. This phone gets an A in that department. The phones curves makes it fun to hold, and the glossy black on the exterior makes it stand out from the crowd. Red and Black makes it a Virgin Mobile phone. Ok, so lets get to the pros and cons.

Pros: (+)

(+) design (gotta mention it again)
(+) GREAT battery life
(+) fast!!
(+) mobile i.m and e-mail
(+) OK camera for only a VGA
(+) downloadable games, ringtones, wallpaper, etc.
(+) GREAT sound quality
(+) cool camera features: you can have the phone closed and use the external screen for self-portraits.
(+) GREAT reception
(+) Bluetooth
(+) Voice Command
(+) small and light
(+) speaker located on outside :-)
(+) ability to set screensavers as wallpapers

And here come the cons ;-(

(-) external screen is quite small, but ok for displaying time, signal strength, etc.
(-) external screen is low in quality
(-) when a picture is assigned to the external screen, you can barely tell what it is :-(
(-) will freeze sometimes !!!!

**Despite the few flaws, I believe this phone is great. I think its one of the best Virgin Mobile has put out. The cons can be lived with, plus there are way more pros. The last star is lost because of its freezing and poor external screen, but hey you can't beat the price for only $50!!
