Nokia 6290
Good Symbian phone overall
Ive used this phone several weeks. I have enjoyed it overall, here is my feed back:
The Pros:
* Excellent screens (Inside and Out) that stay pretty legible in sunlight
*Symbian OS UI runs without noticable lag, but see cons also
*Tons of 3rd party apps available if thats your thing
*LOUD speakers for ringtones
The So/So:
*Average quality still shots from a phone camera, with little lag between shots.
*Reception with T-Mobile not as strong as previous Nokia's Ive used
*Mushy feeling keyboard not to great for Texters.
The Cons:
*Bluetooth seems flakey when used with a A2DP (Stereo) headset. My Moto headset stays connected fine with a Nokia 5300 but looses connection over and over with this phone
*Battery life is 1.5 days on average
*O/S Crashed several times in the past few weeks, required removing battery to reset. I have no 3rd party apps to blame this on and it would happen when the phone was in an Idle state.
