My enVious Music Exprience So Far

**This is an excerp from an much lengthlier review of my enV experience. I'll be posting various topics from that from time-to-time. I've had my enV since Thanksgiving, and getting good mileage from it.**

VCast Music is amazing, considering they're trying to cram the iTunes experience into a tiny screen. On my Samsung, I was undewhelmed by the effort. On the enV, with full keyboard, spiffy vibrant screen and stereo speakers, I now see what the hype is about. Too bad they chose WMA. I get blueballs thinking about how much better the music experience would be if I could just sync the phone to my iTunes. If I can watch Finding Nemo on my handset, why not my latest episode of BattleStar Galactica?! I've seen the Cingular experience with...

People say that using BitPim and a Data Cable is easier for ringtones, and it's the only way to get a 2Meg ringtone (full song) into the ringers folder.
And as far as album art. You just have to do a bit of working with the ID3 tags in WMP10 on the .wma's and the art will show.
Not sure how you can sort this out being a Mac user, but if you add the album art on a windows machine, you can just drop the .wma's into your sounds folder using your mac and you should see the album art.
As far as the music not remembering what track you were on, that's just a function of the music player after you exit it. It will resume playing if interrupted by a call or SMS, but not if you exit the player.

Hi. I'm thinking of getting this phone as my "New Every Two" is about to come up. How are you liking it?? How did you get your mp3s on it or are you still using WMAs?? And you mentioned something about SMSing yourself ringtones?? Please explain. Thanks.
