Just got a couple quick questions for the pro's out there...

1. I have a card reader..and i put wma's/mp3's on the card in the my_music folder(formatted card first)...and not all the songs show...101 out of 143 show...anybody know why some dont show?? any input would be most appreciated. I did buy the mek and they work that way..but i'd like to return the kit if i could..

2. anyone have problems with the volume on this phone when a headset is plugged in? I listen to music with the mek headphones and on the lowest volume its loud enough to make me deaf...any ideas?

Thanks in advance guys!

Make sure the the song names are less than 40 characters including spaces otherwise the phone won't recogonize them. As far as the volume I have not had the problem with it being to loud even when it is all the way down.

Ok, so no matter what I did I could not get this issue resolved...so I called verizon and they sent me a new one. It sounds the same...its on the lowest sound setting and its still loud enough to pop my eardrums...but i put my card back in my vx8300 and it sounds completely normal...the songs are quiet on the low setting and get loud as normal when I up the volume...what could be causing this??? I've reformatted the card and resync'd all my music..no change..ugh...anyone have any idea???

Yes, it's just that the enV is very loud through the wired headset, especially the MEK headphones. A solution would be to get a wired headset with volume control like this one ->

An alternative solution would be to re-encode your music at a lower volume using a program like Audacity or Sony Soundforge.
Good Luck 😁

Thanks man, i really appreciate the response...Most of my songs are fine...out of 190 like 60 of them are overly loud...Do you think Verizon will release a software update for this?

If there are enough complaints, and the programmers at LG are able to sort out a fix, then maybe, but it doesn't seem like a large enough issue for VZW or LG to worry about. 🙄
