You have two choices. You can either get a new phone at the full retail price (for the 9900 it 319.00) or you can break the contract on the family line, which will cost you 175, I believe. Figure out which is cheaper full retail or break contract fee and new phone with 2 year deal.

wait so it's 319 in the store? i thought that was only online but then like 369 in the stores? I also figured out if it is cheaper to cancel and buy with a two year cntrct, and its exactly the same. Also will they give me a discount if i am getting a phone becuase the razr gives me about 10 problems?

No, they will not give you any further discounts unless you by chance have switched your RAZR out at least 3 times due to problems.

actually, your cheapest option would probably be to sign a new contract under your existing family share plan. you wouldn't get new pricing but you would get 25% off the full retail price. also, they do have a new fru to new policy which allows you to get a different model phone once your has been swapped out a couple times. but it is up to the manager which model they give you. i don't think they are going to consider the 9900 as an even swap though. you might be able to get into an 8300.
