Ok, I disconnected the battery right at "connected," and when I turned the phone back on, the ringtone was there. The problem I keep running into is that when I go back into get new ringtones, I get a message telling me that my sale of the ringtone did not go through and I can either finish purchasing it, or cancel. When I click on cancel, it removes the ringtone from my phone. What am I doing wrong??

this will work with any verizon phone that supports TRUE TONES.....the KEY to this TRICK is how easy it is to take out BATTERY.....the 9900 and 9800 are easy because you just unclip the battery hinge and it will fall right out.....i know for a fact the chocolate works...i did it to my friends...its juss ur quickness of taking it out....

It DOES NOT work anymore. however it used to up until early march. Verizon had an Upgrade to their program which made it so we could not do it anymore. I just get my ringtones from my mp3s off my computer. they arent as good quality but they work! 😁

Well, I just download Midi files from the internet any songs I want I just search for them. I then use my trusty O'l midi cutter and cut only the first 45 seconds of the song I then do this for 10 Midi files. I log into vzwpiz.com and I upload the 10 files and then I attach them all in one message (the 10 midi files for ring tones) I then send the message to my phone and when I receicve the message I save each of the files as ring tones and I now have 10 ring tones for a total of 25 cents. 😁
