I believe they are actually the number one carrier in the US & A. Every cell co. has its niche, Verizon just happens to be the best network. Thankfully I like this phone a lot so I am mucho happy now.

Cingular makes great phones.. I personally think Sony is beginning to make some great handsets and will carry Cingular's phone lineup... Plus no POS software... hmmm which carrier to cancel?

I think you should check the front page more often... Cingular released the LG CU400 quite a while ago. It has all of those features you listed above.

Cingular will never b what Verizon is they copied the Moto Q witht he BlackJack, the only cool phone they have going is the razr with itunes which is ok the chocolate kills it hands down

Now they can't even decide if they wanna be Cingular or AT&T. They have much bigger fish to fry than to try and keep up with us.

w810i (cingy) is an awesome phone and I never carried my choco when it came out. Not only is it a better phone it was the same price but came w/ data cable, headphones, and a memory card... o yea and a 2mp camera

Wow thats awsome, but wait does the w810i have a full qwerty keyboard?... oh yah, thought so. I mean, don't get me wrong, the w810i was cool the first few months I had it but as soon as I got my 9800, i loved it. Then I made the move to the 9900 and also loved it. The data cable and the headphones are supurflous now when it comes to cell phones, not a deal breaker. It's faster to just transfer your data straight to the memory card, and why would I feel lucky with getting a dinky 256MB card when I know I want 2gigs and why would you want wired headphones when you can get a device to do stereo bluetooth? I guess when it comes down to it you should just drop Cingular and make the switch to Verizon.
