Music Volume

So I'm using the Verizon earbud headphones and the music is really loud. At the first volume level it's as loud as I'd ever want it to be.
It also distorts a bit. Does anybody else experience this or know how to adjust it? Thanks.

This is standard for the 9900's. There were a bunch of complaints about the 9800's earbud volume being too low, so they amped it up a bit for the 9900. Many people are buying the headphone adapter that they sell at VzW with the volume control knob, so they can use regular headphones and turn the volume down a bit using the adapter. Other people are just buying the old "LG" white "2.5mm" earbuds with the volume control on them. ๐Ÿ‘€
If you don't want to use an adapter, the only option for you is to re-encode all of your "too-loud" .mp3's at a lower volume level using a program like "audacity" or "soundforge". ๐Ÿคจ

Personally, I think it's a good move on LG's part because with the 9800, when you plug it into a car-stereo, it's...

Wow that's very interesting. Yeah now that i think about it when i had my V i had to turn the car radio volume up all the way. It drove me nuts. Is there some wireless BT adapter we can buy for our phones so that we can wirelessly play music from our phones onto the car stereo?

Well, what you really want is a car stereo with the a2dp profile. ๐Ÿ‘€
But, without that, you can use this little device from Jensen
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CMU1NM/sr=8-1/q ... »
it will receive your stereo BT transmission from your phone, and it has a 3.5mm (headphone jack) out, so that can go directly to your Aux-in. It even comes with a 3.5 to RCA adapter so you can plug it into a mixer/ home stereo/ VCR, etc.
I, personally wouldn't wast my time with this. I think that it's easier to just plug in one wire. ๐Ÿ˜

So what you're saying then is that Jensen product is not completely wireless? ๐Ÿ‘€ I mean it is BT so it's got to be wireless to an extent. How would it work in the car? You pair your phone up with it then how doyou connect it up with your car stereo? That's the part that's confusing me. haha. Thanks for your help so far!@! ๐Ÿ™‚

Well, because your Stereo is not BlueTooth and has the Aux-in (3.5mm) port. That (3.5mm port) is where the Jensen thing plugs in. I wouldn't use this thing at all, I mean, what's the point of transmitting wirelessly if you are going to have to use a wire anyway, right? ๐Ÿ‘€

Yeah you're right. โ˜น๏ธ I mean is there ANYTHING that would be completely wireless on the market? If not, what would be the easiest way to do this in your opinion? I appreciate the help as always Ashaneen! Like I said i used to play the music on my V in my car but not wtih my enV particularly cause the music was too low and could barely be heard even when you max out the car speakers. โ˜น๏ธ ๐Ÿ˜

Well, to do it completely wirelessly, you need a car-stereo with the a2dp BT profile:

But that thing is like $400, here's one at amazon for about $150:

But, if you search around for "car stereo, A2DP" you may be able to find one for around $99. ๐Ÿ‘€

Makes sense. If you have around $25,000 saved up, you could get this one:

And, I think it should come with DVD/Nav/BT - stereo, so you should be good. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Oh Ashaneen, you're hilarious now aren't you. lol. ๐Ÿคค ๐Ÿ˜ Oh yeah however that RSX was unfortunately "riced" out so it doesn't look tasteful anymore. Quite the contrary it looks tacky and disgusting loking. lol. I might buy my dad's RSX. It's a 2003 with onlye 33,500 on it. In perfect condition. Oh hell, i"ll just have to see what it is I can afford after I graduate, that's all i can say right now. hahaha
