For some reason when i start taking pictures with my cam, as it's focusing the yellow box gets replaced with a red one and starts blinking and making noises and wont let me take a picture. The only way to avoid this is to turn off focus completely. Does anyone know why it's doing this? Thank you in advance

Yeah, I tried it myself with my enV. It looks like you've got the focuc on two step focus where the box turns red makes a weird noise focuses but doesn't take the picture. In order to take the picture in this mode after you hear the noise, you'd have to hit the ok button again to actually take the picture. Try selecting oine step. In this step, the box stay s yellow, there is NO noise and it will take the picture for you. See if that works for you.

That seemed to work for me, although some of thr pictures come out as a blur, it's better than nothing!

Thank you so much

No problem. If some of the pictures are coming out blurry, try to obviously clean off the camera lens and when the camera is auto focusing, you should stilll do your best to hol dit as still as you can for the best picture other than that, have fun with it. I like the enV's camera because it's got 4 different resolution modes and you can take print quality pictures with it!
