I finally found a picture of the possible phone on Yahoo. It'll have a little bit bigger inner screen. They say the keyboard is bigger but it doesn't look it at all. Looks the same size to me. There's almost nothing that is changed. That's my impression of it. I still love my enV. hahahah

Ok so I did look at those pictuers. Honestly, yeah it looks a little different a biggier screen and everything on the inside. Wow. The outside though yeah bigger screen but am I missing something here or is there an outside keypad. Honestly, i know everyone hates Verizon's userinterface due to not being customizable enough but what do you mean? I mean i don't have too much of a problem w/ it now. Everyone on Howard Forums bashes Verizon's UI to the fullest extent and I don't know why. I mean yes, the Mobile Web 2.0 is costly but it does offer a lot. What's up with Opera Mini though? i know its a browser but what's so good about it? I dont know why people enjoy bashing Verizon for this because except for expensive features which even I'll adm...

Ok so a real browser. In what ways do you tink OpenWave is limited though? i mean other than opening up links i can access most of the sites i usually go to on my computer some sites just take longer that's all? And do you think it's really a good diea to put a touch screen on the new phone because I mean look at the iPhone. It's annoying when you want to type really fast even texting one handed. At least it would still have a mechanical keyboard inside though. I still say the phone looks very similiar to the enV though. This is one of the main reasons why i don't like the iPhone. I can't type too fast on it without messing up. I like the idea of having a mechanical keyboard. How about everyone else here?

It will have the qwerty regular keyboard inside... we are hoping it will be an unrestricted browser so that we will b able to download onto the phone.

How very interesting. Well we should all stay informed about this new phone development. I hope you still like your enV though. hahahah. I love mine. Memory card and all. I just am not too fond of devices w/ touch screens because they tend to get way too annoying especially when quickly trying to use different applications all at once. Case in point, the iPhone....

I too prefer the use of actual buttons. . it may look cool to have the touchscreen, but in the real world of useage it does fall short. As for releasing the browser limitations, I sincerely doubt Verizon will allow this because the user will be able to put free content on their phone. . .I love Verizon. . .but just like anything you love, they do have a bad side. Verizon has maintained control over all content and software you put on your phone, and they reap the benefit$$ of every ringtone purchase & controlling the software on your phone. So to keep the user under their thumb, I really doubt they would open the phone up this way.

I know this may sound like a very stupid question, but what about Verizon do you love? i'm curious cause i love verizon to but i want to hear your take on it. lol. As for reaping the benefits, well yes like ANY other company out here in America, they want to make as much money off of their products as they can. To a certain extent, I can understand that but yeah I do understand what you mean. As for the ringtones though, You do know that you can get FREE ringtones for the enV right?

Sorry I haven't checked the threads in a while. . .Verizon, I love the service, had some bad issues with another carrier. Verizon offers a lot of cool phones, cool applications (backup assistant, VZ Nav, Song ID VCast Music) and I do believe that they have the best network out there. I know that their services are a bit of a premium, but I am happy with everything so far (3 years).
