unlocked question?

if i buy an unlocked version can i still use it on a cingular sim card with out having a tmobile data plan?

all i want this phone for is texting and music

yes, you should still be able to text and use the phone and music player. Unlocked SK3's are very hard to find though... the 2 companies that carry them in the US (T-Mobile and SunCom) will not unlock them for any reason.
