I currently have an SK2 I got a couple months ago, I love it but I love this one more! I love the SK2 for its design, but always wanted a beter camera and MP3 player. Anyone know if you can trade up to an SK3 without paying the Full retail? Anything like sending in the SK2 and paying the difference in retail value? Thanks in advance for the input. (I feel a disappointment coming on... 😛 )

UMM, NO. But you can upgrade your existing Tmobile account for it. or just pay full retail, its only $400, its not that bad.

Can't upgrade yet, only had it for a couple months, though i did manage to get it before T-Mobile changed all their new agreements to 2 years. My sister loves my SK2, maybe I can just add a line and swap the SIMs, make her take the SK2 and I get a new phone =P

You can do full retail for 400... And tmobile still has 1 year contracts, you just pay more for the phone.

Wish I could pay full retail, on a limited budget. I couldn't afford to get the SK2 either but I did my homeqork and made it work for me. I got my SK2 new, $50 off the net, and got a $50 rebate on it, and I actually got the check back lol. I know they wont have anything nearly as good on the SK3 as its so new its not even out yet =P

there's always a possibilty that t-mobile will offer and option to trade up your sk2, but I doubt that option would be available upon the release date of the device.

If they don't have it available immediately, then I would wait a few months and after the initial buzz has worn off then they might offer some sort of discount/trade in/up.

Then again, on a solid business side...it's a safe bet to assume that only new customers get any sort of discount on the handheld.

I called in to T-mobile a couple days ago, but I didn't ask about getting an SK3. I finally got tired of my SK2 dropping my calls, and I read that the SK3 has "the same notoriously weak signal".

I don't use the IM nearly as much as I used to, but wanted the music player and bluetooth. They gave be a small price break on a Motorola V360 so it wasnt bad.

Now I have an SK2 to sell so at least i'll get some money back from that. Overall, it's not a bad deal. 🙂
