Yeah, the phone asks me if I want to format the card, then it says the size is 0 in an information screen before formatting (can't be good), then it says there was an error formatting.

I tried formatting the card with FAT16 and 64k sectors from the DOS command line but the phone couldn't deal with that either.

Motorola has fallen down here IMO. How hard would it have been to release a phone that supports 4gb (FAT16 *or* FAT32). It's Linux, so the drivers are already written...

Does anybody know how to find out the version of my phone's firmware and know a place to go to get updates?
