monkeyracer, the target audience of this handset is somebody who wants a small multi-media EV-DO/Bluetooth handset (it replaces SPH-A880). The SPH-A920, as I stated earlier, will be discontinued next month.

As for the price, full retail will be between $249 and $279.

Redundant? To a certain extent. Filling a gap is what I would call it. The SPH-A960 will carry over would-be A920 and A880 users into the summer when the A920 replacement is to be released.

Innovative? The design and aesthetics are. When you hold this handset in your hand you'll really get an idea of how compact it really is. Also, the sides are made of soft to the touch plastics, a very nice touch.
