LG Migo VX-1000

Our oldest child is almost 13 years old and like most kiddos in junior high she wants a cell phone. She has multiple learning disabilities and we felt it would make her/us feel more secure if she could contact us whenever she needed to.
I let her have my old phone when I traded up, but we soon realized that while she wants/needs a cell phone it was too confusing for her to try to reach us;she dialed her grandparents, my closest friend, her school, but not us!!this totally freaked her out.
So, needless to say we are thrilled about the new phone and best of all our child is excited plus she likes the idea of having a shrek phone that is easy for her to understand. It is very important for kiddos with disabilities to have the "normal" things their peers do and this will allow her to fit in while feeling secure.
