Game Display and Dedicated Gaming Buttons on the W600i
Cingular is apparently no longer including even demo versions of games on this phone. I've had mine about a week and purchased a full version of Asphalt GT for it. I thought this thing was supposed to display the game landscaped instead of portrait but it doesn't. The dedicated game buttons do not work either. Is there some setting that I'm missing here or is this a defective unit? I've also become quite aggravated with the phone freezing up when I'm going the the menu systems. It takes 3 to 5 seconds for it to un-freeze and catch up so that I can continue trudging through the menu. Anyone else having these issues?

I believe the landscape feature is game dependant. I d/l'ed 3D Extreme Air Snowboarding and Landscape is a setting in the game, so maybe check the settings. The dedicated game buttons only work in landscape mode i believe

sounds like you have a se s710a. the first ones that were soooo laggy.

when you start the game go to options, then view, and select either landscape left or landscape right, and i'm pretty sure the gaming buttons only work in landscape mode while your playing a game.
