Samsung SCH-A950
Receptiuon???
How is reception? The last Samsung I had wasn't so good. What about speaker-independent voice dialing?

I've had the Samsung 530, VX7000 and VX8100 and so far the A950 has had the best reception. I live in an older apartment building in a residential neighborhood. All of the other phones would drop calls or couldn't make a call when I got farther away from the windows. The A950 doesn't show any bars but there is service and I can make and hold calls. I also work in an office building on Wall St that has a lot of trouble with Verizon calls and the LGs would either drop calls or sound choppy. The A950 again holds the call and sound quality is just as good as outside the building. I'm much happier with the A950 reception than I was with the other phones.

Even if the phone may not show alot of bars I make a crystal clear phone call on no bars. The phone also connects instantly when dialing out.

Well after 5 days, a quick review:
Pro: Reception is a lot better than 8100, crystal clear and no echo.
Con: Voice command sucks, keeps sending to text and battery life is so, so. I seemed to get longer time on 8100. Haven't tried BT yet, as I lost my Moto 850 and Scala 500 is being replaced.
