anyone know how the playing of mp3's effects the battery life? just curious if it really drains the battery a lot.

also, does anyone know if you can listen to the mp3's using the bluetooth headsets?

It obviously will use more battery than if your not using it, but it's not a significant drain unless you plan on using it all day long.

No, you cannot listen to MP3's through your regular Bluetooth headset. They are for audio only. There are bulky and expensive stereo Bluetooth headsets available, but the Jabra plug-in stereo headsets are both comfortable and have excellent sound.

I played mine for about an hour after the phone had been off the charger for a couple hours and just in stand by. It went down one bar just after i stopped playing. I'm getting a lot better life on this phone than i did playing mp3's on the 8100.

Two hours of mp3 playing would have taken me down two bars on my 8100 at least, you must be lucky.
