I really don't know if this matters to anyone, but the usb cable that I bought for my old a530 worked with my a670, and does work with my a970.
I've just seen a lot of talk about ordering new ones. I've got mp3 tones working fine with the same ol cable.

If I decide to get the a970, I wonder if the cable I plan to buy for a650 will work for the a970. The cable I plan to buy is a charging/data combo cable. I know the car charger I have for the a650 will also work for both the a950 & a970. Too bad I have to get a new desktop charger, if there's one for this phone, since the desktop charger I have now only works for the a650.

The cable I had for my a670 did NOT work with the 970. The one from the 530 and 610 works, but NOT the 670.
