Samsung SCH-A970

This afternoon I was in a Best Buy in Nashua NH and they had the a970 on sale. There was a little price tag thing saying pricing was good till 8/28. Retail price was $499. No lie.
Then you could get the good deal if you were a new customer and a 2 year commitment $349.
I asked the sales person if this was a preview or if they really had them in stock. I was told it was they were in stock. I didn't buy it because i'm lookin at the full price.

Ezra - Do you use howardforums at all? I started a thread there about seeing the a970 at the best buy in Nashua, and I didn't get a chance to take a picture and NO ONE believes me.

why don't you guys buy them if they're on sale? Even if you don't want them, you could probably sell them for a boat load on ebay.

I would have to believe you each saw a dummy phone. It just doesn't make sense that Best Buy would be selling this phone six weeks - actually two months now - prior to Verizon selling it!

THEY ARE IN BESTBUY... I work there... Bestbuy probably bought out the release date before verizon stores... Go bestbuy again!! Cheaper phones with 2 year activations and seem to always get the newer phones first too... They are as I listed in another post that they are in The Suburbs of Chicago, Arlington Heights Bestbuy... Go us!! Just keeping you all updated, no mock up phones just real ones... And we got two in stock, ok i'm done, enjoy!
