Motorola L6
Will This phone work on Cingular In Oregon
I live in Bend, Oregon and moved over here from Medford, Oregon. There is no Cingular store here, but I purchased the L6 off of ebay last week and it says it doesnt work on Cingulars 850. Does this mean it won't work here?

Well, mine works in Northern California on the 380-170 network, but I don't know what band it uses. I read somewhere that this network covers most of the West Coast, so I would venture a guess that it works where you are as well.

With Oregon it's hard to tell. What I would suggest doing is calling into customer care and checking to see what the coverage is like there. Oregon is one of those states that were a bit spotty with coverage on the GSM Network. Once Cingular launches the GOLD network combining both the GSM with UMTS network later this year, things should be better.
