Motorola L6

When I receive a text message my L6 only lists the phone number of the sender, not the name. How can I change this?

Also, my phone book lists both my phone entries and my SIM entries, can I make it display only one or the other? As it stands now my phone book lists a lot of duplicates.

I bought an "unlocked" L6 from eBay, and it works fine with my Cingular sim card for calling in and out... but I can't get online at ALL! Is there some secret THING I need to do, or am I just screwed?

I'm new to bluetooth and to my L6, so don't shoot me down if this is a dumb question.

I am in Australia and bought my L6 here, I can use bluetooth to connect with my laptop and transfer pictures and contact information.

My question is, can I use my L6 to connect using bluetooth to any other bluetooth enabled phone to send (e.g. to my friend) my phone number as a contact/phone book entry?

The disc Motorola has for the L6 is not a free option here, so I was wondering if the disc had programs or drivers that could be loaded onto my L6 to enable this capability.

So far, I can connect to my laptop or a headset using bluetooth, but nothing else. Is this the extent of the bluetooth capabilities on the L6????

Is there any way to make a default text phone number? I text my daughter often and it would be nice not to have to put it in every.single.time...

Apply special ring tones for each profile/category all at once, or do I have to do each individual number? (very tedious)

OMG! How do I view SIM or phone? That merge/overwrite thing is a PITA--it kept doubling my add bk entries! (Or maybe it's just me?)

Hi, I have a L6 and i tried moving a contact from the sim to the phone to assign a ringtone but it didnt seem to work so i transfered it back using "copy" and "duplicate". Does this mean my contacts are gone?

Also, my text messages are missing. however i did try to use another sim in my phone. Is there any way to get these messages back?

I am debating between a couple of phones. Simple question about this phone. Does the L6 have a jack to put in either a 2.5 or 3.5 mm jack for an Earpiece? Or do you have to use Bluetooth?

I have a data cable and multiple versions of Mobile phone tools.

I cannot seen to find the driver for my L6.
I want to be able to tranfer music and games to my phone.

I just got this phone off ebay and how do I take out the battery from the phone (I put it in but forgot to take out the sim).

When my phone is ringing and I don't want to hit ignore to stop the ring tone from sounding how do I silence the ring tone? hope that makes sense....on other phones you could hit the soft buttons on the side of the phone.

1st off I have a L6 I bought off of ebay 8 months ago. And now I'm starting to have problems like:

1-my ringer just stopped working. but my speaker is working fine.
2-when i select phone book and then select view I'm taken to my home screen instead of viewing the number i selected.
3-my caller id isn't working properly instead of the name of the person calling showing up I get their number instead.
4-after listening to my voice-mail messages I get a text message and when I go to read it it's gibberish. has anyone experienced this if so how do I remedy one of these problems?

Can i connect my L6 to the computer so that i can download pictures?
