Keyboard limitations

You can't use the keyboard for text entry on the Internet? I just can't believe it. I keep thinking I'm doing something wrong. it works for the address book and for text messages. It works for the IM clients but not for the Internet?

If I'm doing something wrong someone please tell me what. Everytime I open this thing while on the Internet I get "close slider" and there is no way to access the Internet from the menus when the slide is open.

This is a limitation that might actually cause me to give it up for the a630. The no Bluetooth was disappointing but I can live without it but a castrated keyboard? I'll see over the next few weeks.

This is something I mentioned in my user review, purely stupid if you ask me! BUT, considering Cingular's knack for f*ing up stable OS' with software revisions, I am more inclined to say a revision would be a bad idea at this point. Obviously having the trendforce crowd review the phones isn't always the best way to go, with any phone, as most likely they wouldn't notice something like this, or more likely would notice but forget or not bother to mention in their writeup.
