Opinions on the Phone

I'm going to stop baggin' on the self-proclaimed "pimp" for a little while & talk about the PHONE. After all, that's what this forum's SUPPOSED to be for anyway.... 🙂

My store got a couple of these things in a few days ago (AT LAST). It took way too dang long if you ask me. I must say that I am impressed with the phone. I don't typically go for LG's but this one seems ok. I don't care about BT or cameras since I'm getting a S710a whenever they come out. I'm tired of hearing people moan about the lack of such features. The speakerphone is good quality - not quite what I'd expect of an SE, but definately better than a Nokia or Moto. The display is really sharp looking - nice & bright too. Factory installed ringtones suck, as the...

Just posted a user review, I gave it two stars...now I'm waiting for the a630 or s710a. Anyone here from the big C here anything about launch on either? So many mixed messages on both!

I agree with everything you've said about the phone. The only reason that I wouldn't give it a 5 or 4 star was because the keyboard is limited to only texting and Iming. It's ridiculous that you can't use it to enter data on the Internet.

Otherwise this is a cool phone. I'm not one who NEEDS BT or a camera. Even when I had a camera phone I seldomly used it and mostly for the novelty. Bluetooth is always nice but not a necessity for me.

I'll still be checking out the Moto a630 and weighing the two against each other then. Only real thing I'm afraid with the Moto is I've heard the OS is slow as molassas. Slower even then some other moto phones. Have to give LG that this phone's OS seems to keep up with my texting unlike my v2...
