I've loaded small .mpg files onto my e816 (amp'd version of e815) thru the usb cable and can play them from the phone on the pc while still connected to the cable, but once I detach it and goto the video folder on the phone, it doesn't even show up. And I have the source set to transcard. Anyone know how if theres a size limit or special format the file has to be in?

The specs say the phone can play mp4 file, but mine doesn't (neither the E815 nor the E816). To play video file on these phones, you need to have the file in 3pg format. You should google and download a software called "Super" (made by slysoft). It's free, and it converts almost all kinds of formats. Just convert your video file to 3gp (choose the option for Sony Ericsson), and the files can be played on both the E815 and E816
