Hey guys - I dont have much info on this right now, but in our new data training with VZW today I had a paper talking about the Moto. E817, as far as I can tell right now seems the same but with the mini usb charging port. No further details yet, Im going to look at the document again tommorow here.

Also said Q2-2006 release - thats all it had. The picture of the phone they used was a V710, and the also had the E815 on there but that was a pic of the V710 also.

I think they call it the RAZR.

Nothing substantial has ever surfaces about the mythical e817 so at this point I consider it a dead rumor.

Maybe someone has the time to dig through the FCC documents and find something to prove this wrong... 🤣
