E815 disabled EVDO setting and two months later it switched back.

two months ago i switched my E815 from the auto to CDMA setting so the EVDO won't drain my battery. I noticed yesterday that it was switching between 1X and EVDO. I checked the setting and it was back to the auto. Did any else have this problem? Just wondering. Thanks.

Could be that when you power it down it resets. Maybe you have to do it everytime you power down then back up, or just always leave it on if that is the case. Don't know for sure, just a thought.

I went in and switched my E815 back to CDMA. I went it to switch my wifes and hers was still on CDMA and flip flopping back and forth from 1X to EVDO. What can I do to stop this?
