A FEW MINOR THINGS THAT BUG US ABOUT THIS PHONE

1) How you cannot delete the pictures that are already saved in the phone e.i. the crazy little dudes that move around.
2) How the external screen is so dark you cannot read the time after a few seconds.
3) How the external display does not keep the missed call log (or it does sparadically, in my case)
....
feel free to add to the list or explain to me how to fix these little problems.

The phone "resets" itself in mid texts or calls, weak vibration, rings when ringer is set on off, resets all personalized settings back to original settings, pics are blurry.I tried to exchange it for new one within my 15 days and waited for 2 hours while they programmed the new one only to come back and find the new one was also defective. Now, I'm stuck. ☹️ Anything new from Samsung soon?

You are not stuck. You have a one-year warranty. Get another one.

Hey, mine does all that too (resetting itself, turning off and on again at random), plus the sound quality is sort of garbled despite full signal strength. The OK button is a little mushy and is hit-or-miss, but i can live with that. Took it to VZW store and they "upgraded the firmware". Still no luck. I'm past 15 days too. Does anyone know Moto's turnaround time for service?

Worst quality control phone I have ever owned, dumping it tonight. Went through 5 bad ones, see my report above about the echo also.

This 815 had the chance at being a great phone.However.

Echo.
Most have shoddy case assembly.
Inconsistent keyboard feeling. Some keys hard, some soft.
Bad hinges, some crack when opened, most have bad play.
Dead pixels.
Disabled BT, (VZW).
Distorted or static sound in earpiece.

List goes on but I gotta run so I can return it.

maybe a bad batch, I have 2, had to return 1 for static but the 1 original and the replacement have none of the problems you list, (nice key clicks, smooth opening, etc.)

Good luck on what you chose, seems like many of the new ones have some bugs or bad batches. Unfortunately quality control seems like a big issue for all brands, not sure if it's more of the Verizon SW and crippling or the HW manufacturers (or a little of both).
