I'd be careful of a Motorola phone

arouth

I'm not posting this to get people all fired up. Its just that i've had nothing but bad experiences with Motorola phones. I've had:

1. V600 (x2)
2. V505
3. V551 (X2)
4. v710

The v600 was buggy and had it replaced and it worked ok. Upgraded it to the V505 and that worked for about 6 months and then the reception starated to suffer. The V551 was replaced and then returned after a week because of poor reception. My friend is with Verizon and I borrowed his v710 cell phone for a week and it was buggy too. Also, I have my second V600 to my sister and its having problems too. It, like the V505, worked good for about 6 months.

Now I know you guys love your E815, but be careful. Motorola has very poor quality control. I asked both Cingul...

Buddy hate to bust your bubble but there isn't enough room on this message space for how many LG phones i had to return because of reception problems, dropped calls, missed calls, and other rink a dink problems. Every phone company has a hit and miss phone those Motorola phones you went through thats not bad i cant even start to list my list of LG phones i had to go through thats why i don't go through LG phones anymore. And plus Verizon pushes LG phones because they make more profit off of them anyways. But they end up losing all the money because everyone returns them after they find out how many reception problems they have and if you were on cingular that was your first problem. The network can be a big factor.

Verizon employess push LG phones because more MOTO phones get returned or sent for repair and they actually lOSE money! They don't get any different profit/bounus on any brand over another. It's a fact directly from Verizon that MOTOS are the #1 returned phone for repair and LG is the last.

OK you know this was a very civil thread and look what it turned into. I'm really getting sick and tired of seeing that on here this is a place were people can voice their own opinions and they are not supposed to get slandered for it.

People get so angry in here....I think some need Paxil to go along with her can of Busch beer and pack of Marlboro reds. Maybe she likes her LG because she can hear even though all 7 of the children are screaming in the background when she's on it. 🤣

That was so childish and inmature that I can't believe I'm even responding to it, but let me tell you DivaWireless (nice white trash name, by the way) you must be the one using psycho drugs drinking beer and smoking ciggarettes since you know the brands right off the top of your head! I like my LG because it's a good phone! I live in a $350,000 house and have only TWO children and maybe your just jealous because you spent too much money on your habits that you can't afford the LG! By the way, how's your internet service in your trailer? Do you have a direct connection, or is there a building were you all go to share a computer?

By the way, I'm not normally like this on here, but it's people like you that really pi** me off and cause t...

I'm now on my 3rd Moto phone, had a V120c (I think, it was a candy-bar phone), then a T730 and now the E815. The first one I had was actually pretty good, for what I used it for. The T730 was decent, it dropped a few calls over the 2 years I used it, but it had better reception than many other phones, except in the last month I had it. The E815 has probably been the best by far. I now use it for work and get reception where I couldn't with the 730. I have had minimal issues with the charging port on any of the phones, my only real problem is my vehicle power adapter (that I got with my first phone) now has a flaky connection, but that's expected after 5-6 years.

I was just on vacation, had probably 2 hours of talk time on it through ...

Sounds to me like you are in the WRONG forum!! 😁

You need to be in the LG forum and address the reception problem of the 8100 with them! 😛

As for us, we like the 815 phone, reception is GREAT, and the phone is solidly built with lots of features, and they ALL work!!! 😉

That can't be said of the LG 8100. How well does your MP3 player work? Oops........, I forgot, they disabled the MP3 player on it!!!! 👿

Can you answer and use the speaker phone without opening the flip?

The 8100 is probable an ok phone, we just prefer the 815 because we think it is BETTER!

If you don't, then just go over to the 8100 forum. This forum is about using and helping others with all the great features this phone has to offer! ...

😲 I hade a T720 for 2 1/2 years *my wife still has hers) and both the E815 and the T720 have passed my 9 year old daughter test. E815 has great reception and durable enough for a small child to use. 😎
