I took a picture on the camera phone and tried emailing it to myself...it doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong?

Call Verizon and make sure the feature is turned on for your phone.

Other than that, we can't help you much since you did not give us enough information, like EXACTLY....

1. what did you type in to send this email,
2. how did you go about attaching the picture to the email?

Remember, we can't see what you did and guessing doesn't help much either. 😉

The more information you give the better someone can help find what you are doing wrong! 😁

well ok yeah I wasn't thinking I should have been more specific...here's what i did

1)took a random picture with the phone and tried to email it to an aol email using the text message feature. It didnt work...then i tried sending the same random picture using the send a pix message feature...didndt work either...it kept saying unable to send and a big x was next to the message in the outbox. So I took the phone to verizon this morning (I do have the feature on my phone)...and naturally the messaging worked just fine when the tech attempted to do it. He also checked the ones I tried and failed to send and made sure the address was well written and it was and when we went to re-send (something I had also tried numerous times)...yep you g...

I've had my 815 for 3 days, and I couldn't send pix either. I had to call Verizon and they had to reprogram the phone. It works slick now!
Good luck!

Hey Judia184, it's me again. make sure the service is turned on, more than likely it is. but, please make sure you type in the complete email address, for example: "judiasomething@aol.com" don't forget the part after the "@" sign...a friend of mine on AOL would always forget that part and then call me and ask what she was doing wrong! it will work....

ok well...not a quick fix, but you gotta call Verizon. I had this same problem and my features were disabled. I am still waiting for them to call me back and fix it (within 24 hours they said). Call their number and just tell them your problem, you will get transfered to 3 different people and finally the last one can help you, and will register the complaint and they call you back. I'll let you know tomorrow if they can fix mine.
