I've had mine for a week and I have no problems with V CAST It connects everytime and plays videos without a hitch.

I picked mine up last night and the rep had some difficulty activating it. It failed the first couple times.
He said it was because of the VCAST portion of the network; a glitch in the system. He said it had been happening all day trying to activate new ones.

I was on a national singlerate plan, which provides free roaming in AMPS-only areas. I couldn't activate my E815 due to a feature conflict (it's digital-only), and had to actually switch to a cheaper America's Choice plan to activate the phone. Go figure . . . Verizon won't let me use this phone unless I start sending them less money. 🙄

Well, we know what the customer service lady said is a bunch of BS. We know there is at least the EVDO software issue with the phone.

I got my phone on July 3rd and I have an EV icon at the top almost always and videos and all that work perfectly...never a problem...but then again if only half of the phones were missing the software, half the ppl got phones that were fine
