Yup the yare going to release the phone on the third at circuit city ( since monday is a holiday) I talked to the guys at circuit city today while I was buying a cd and they said that they are getting the phone on the third

I think i will still wait a couple weeks to see if anyone has problems with the phone or software. I'm glad the phone has been set at a reasonable price even for retail and even comes with a rebate. I hope Motorola and Verizon did something right this time I think this phone is going to fly right off the shelves as well.

supposedly $299 full retail, i will have myself in there on the first day. Not sure about rebate, really dont care about rebate. You remember how the 710's flew off the shelves, i expect the same with this one.

i heard the rebate will be $50 i think its with the phone no matter how you buy it like i bought my V710 at retail and they gave me a $50 rebate for it. Thats how Verizon has been giving out rebates as of late. I just want to make sure there are no bugs in the phone or software before i get the phone i can't stress that enough I've seen it happen too many times than people are stuck with a brand new phone that has to be replaced with a refurbished phone.

"technically" verizon doesn't offer mail in rebates on phones purchased at full retail. thankfully Young America(the rebate processor we use) is so big the chances of them catching it are slim to none. hint, i only give out the rebates to people who are nice when buying the phone. act like an ass, get treated like an ass. 😛

It seems like Verizon just gives them away like nothing no matter if someone buys the phone with a contract or not. It also helps to have friends that work for Verizon as well.

I would look towards Tuesday they might of not realized what is going on i am sure everyone will get their shipment on Thursday and they will all release the phone on the same day. Which would be Tuesday since Monday is a holiday.

Circuit city stores are going to sell it on the 3rd because of ads already set to run. retail stores, online, and other indirect sales will have it on the 5th.
