1) why being so tech savvy are you not angry about obex being diabled?? You guys really don't know what can be done with it do you??

2) If verizon is willing to disable obex, what else in the future will you miss out on. Don't you care????

3) you guys are lame for being all excited because your wallpaper will now show up on your front display. OMG people are you that lame. You act like this is the first phone that has this option.

but but the keys light up blue now, and it has evdo, blah blah blah. Come on!

Yes verizon has limited amounts of phones to choose from, and yes its a somewhat cool phone. BUT DONT support verizon by buying any so call BLUETOOTH phones people.

I think your right Natas, they don't know the true power of bluetooth. I switched from verizon to Cingular and it was the Best move. I got the Nokia 6620 and I can go to many different websites and download anything I want for free in seconds. wallpaper, games, ringtones, and anytype of files.or doc's I want. Then I can go right to my friends phone and bluetooth whatever right to his phone. You make be laugh, your right being all excited over their front display pics is stupid.

1)I am currently an AT&T/Cingular customer who has had bluetooth enabled phone since 2003. I can honestly say 90% of the time I use bluetooth is for the wireless headset. Yeah, I've used obex, and it works well, but it just isn't that big a deal.
2)I can't see someone buying or not buying a phone based on what Verizon might do in the future. No one knows what Verizon or Cingular or anyone else will do in the future. I When I upgraded my phone last year I wanted to give my old Nokia 3650 to my bro who has T-Mobile. Even though I was locked in to Cingular for another year they wouldn't unlock the phone for me. They wouldn't do it for my V600 either. Verizon isn't the only provider that does things that aren't consumer friendly.

I am...

Can I ask you a question? Why do you waste your time saying the same things over and over again? Its a bit annoying. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but you shouldn't BEAT it into everyone's heads.

You may be right about some of the things you say, but definetly not everything, and the phone will be the "coolest" and sharpest looking phone Verizon has ever offered. Let them have their toys, and their own opinions.
