HELP!

Alright guys, I need your help. I have been using my old v60c as a replacement for my a670 that I lost. The v60's antennae broke today, and VZW cannot fix it. I am in desperate need of a new phone. I am strongly considering getting the samsung a890 tonight, because I don't think I can wait for the e815. Any suggestions? I know you guys do. Thanks.

I feel your pain im using my V60c as a spare as well until something decent comes out. You can go to Radio Shack to see if they have a Antenna. If not Verizon just re-released the V265 they will be releasing the Motorola A840 in less than a week and there is the V710 that went down $100 with a $50 mail in rebate. There is also the Kyocera SoHo KX1 which is suppose to be decent. You can always use up their 15 day worry free gurantee trial period and if the e815 isnt out still just return the phone say it aint working and get a different one it will renew the 15 day gurantee and the e815 hopefuly will be out by than thats the best suggestion i can give you go cheap and wait or get a good phone and not get the e815 or use the 15 day worry ...

One other note: The 15 guarantee is only good for ONE swap. This prevents people from getting a new phone every 15 days. I had the same issue with a customer that was looking for a v710, got a kx2, didnt like that, got a 6100, then was not allowed to switch again when the 710's were back in stock. Just something to keep in mind; didn't mean to burst any bubbles.

I never had a problem with swapping out phones with the 15 days of course i always had actual problems with my phones though and people at Verizon either messed up my account or couldnt match up the ESN number on my phone that was on my acccount which caused phone problems so it wasnt a matter of abuse it was a matter of stupidity on Verizons part that my equipment didnt work right. But actual customer service will assist you with your problem and you can always use the accessory hotline number through Verizon to order old phone parts as well like a V60 attenna they have a website link and a phone number.

Motorola can send you and antenna to replaced your broken one, provided the mount that it threads into isn't broken. I have original moto antennas in stock at my store (we do repairs) for $15 plus tax. Those are ORIGINAL Motorola antennas from Motorola. That way, you don't have to make rash decisions. 😁

That surprising a lot of places dont even carry those antennas anymore ecpsecially verizon stores because the last couple V60 phones had stub antennas. I think thats why this person is having such a hard time with finding this antenna. I know it seems like everyone goes back to the good ole V60c phone it was a really good phone now it just seems outdated but thats just because it dont have all the gadgets all these new phones have but the downfall of that phone was the antenna.

The only moto antennas we don't readily stock are for the starTAC. You can understand why. That's the only repair part still available for that classic handset. Other than that, we can repair any moto (save the mpx220 and razr) in house without additional orders. BTW, we replace just as many antennas and mounts on the stubbies (v60s, x, p, v) as we ever did on the old c's and t's from vz, at&t, and alltel.
