MP3 tones and vibration?

hi i was just curious if the phone vibrates when an mp3 is used as a ringtone?

Think so, there are some mmfs on the phone and it vibrates while playing.
however, I downloaded a polyphonic and the phone vibrates 3 times, then stops vibrating and plays the tone (when set to vibrate and ring)
