I'm rather green with both this phone and multimedia phones. Could someone please answer the following or point me at good site the explanations etc.

1) what formats does this phone except (not jpg, I tried that :-)

2) I can send files to phone, don't appear to be able to browse it.

3) any ideas of a like phone to copy profile etc to get iSync to work?

4) any other pointers around this subject.

Thanks very much in advance.

Hi again...

1) jpeg works fine! Did you get a file transfer error? Mine goes across and turns up in funbox / downloaded images. (I can't get IrDA to work though. Looks ok but then gives an error)

2) OBEX file transfer allows me to browse the phones files from a PC. I have to keep clicking YES on the phone for each communication though.

3) iSync hmmm... Apple, don't think it is supported. MLsync on PCs/PocketPCs works fine.

4) Don't play too much myself with all the various options, but I know you know howardforums.

cheers (Brit in sunny California)

well, actually, the extension on the mac is jpg and mac file said "bt device says it does not accept this format - transfer anyway?" and I said no, so I'll try it again.
I have an oldish MacOSX, so maybe later version will support OBEX and I've MLsync on order for the PC and will try my BT with that too.

Thanks again for all the help, really like this phone now I've got the new Moto h/s working with it.
