Well for 4 months verizon has been doing an investigation on this phone, particularly with me, tech after tech, they all giving me there personal job number (maybe they took extra care with me because my mother works for verizon, but i don't know) , finally today ive been set up an appointment for a new phone entirely, the only problem is i may have to pay the difference unless i get the lg8100, but i think I'm going to get the xv6700, but anyway, i bought this phone when if first came out, it worked perfect, mp3 was flawless but after a few months went by, something happened to the ear part of the phone so i couldn't hair calls at all unless it was one speaker(no i don't need my ears checked lol), i then took it to a verizon and they made it worse, i couldn't hear anything at all, then to middletown, they gave me a whole new phone, but here was the catch, the mp3 didn't work at all, i turned it off and on, tried to format(which didnt work), it said format failed please try again. after going from verizon to verizon, i finally called and they basically told me i messup the card, go get a new one from us(in a more nicer way), by the way the first one i had which worked was from compusa, then i bought another from verizon didnt work, turns out i waited too long so i couldnt return it, so i bought a 3rd from verizon, didnt work, few months went buy i gave up, i finally decided to go to the one in the palisades 4 months ago, the girl checked 3 new cdm 8940s and it didnt work so they guy next to her said its the card,(because he obviously thought he new everything, and he said it like he new everything)so i explained to her its not the card, and he kept cutting in, so she said she'll try it in the 8100, and the xv6700, the format worked with both, so she said she put comments onto the account so no other verizon will hassle us. the same day we went to one in whiteplains and the same thing happened just worst, i ended up arguing with the people because the made me leave it with them for 3hrs and come back and i still had to wait another hr, they then told me it was the card because they tested it in 2 new 8940s, i began to get a little loud telling them to check the account for comments, they did and still said i was wrong, this is when i told them get another card check it in my phone if it works i'll buy it, if it doesnt you keep it. (at this point the girl switched me to another girl which was calming me down), when the girl i was getting loud with passsed buy she said make her pay for it first! in spanish not knowing, i speak spanish, i yelled at her in spanish "why couldnt you say it in english", thats when she went into a room and never came out, the lady that was calming me down tried the new minisd card, that they just made me pay for, and it didnt work, so the refunded me my money back and gave me a number to call. When i called, they lady basically told me the mp3 doesnt work because i dont have windows media play 10, and the songs arent licensed, well i have 2 computers and a laptop in my house, 2 has wmp 11, and one has 10, and 2 use itunes and one uses limewire, and i know for a fact itunes is licensed, thats when i called my mother which workes for verizon to call for me, and thats when the investigation started, and they finaly came to the conlusion, that its all of these phones, for the people that say nothing is wrong with your phone thats because you got the phone earlier. now that you all heard my long story, the only way you can get them to listen to you is to call and be persistant, dont let them tell you, you did it or its the phone.
