Does this phone make that "click" noise when opened?
Does the 8940 click when its opened like the cdm-9900 or the sanyos from sprint? Also, is the camera quality any good? is the camcorder at least decent?

Nope, no clicking noise. Camera quality is very decent for a camera phone. I took one today in the highest resolution and it was huge when i emailed it to myself. camcorder is ok for 15 seconds of whatever, spur of the moment captures. definitely. there's a thread on how to retrieve video via usb , i havent tried it yet.

great thanks!! howabout the speaker phone? loud enough to use in a mall or muscle car? cuz audiovox is well known for quiet speakers.... o yea, how many pix can it keep?

Nope. Speaker phone sucks, but is adequate enough to free you up while driving. Holds as many pictures as the internal memory plus sd card can hold. Thats a whole lot. There's plenty of threads on your specific questions, just read on.

I agree that is why I chose the 8000. The 8940 speaker phone is worse than the 8900 and that was pretty bad itself
