ebay 8940 sans contract
On ebay one person has an 8940 without contract for a decent price. I don't know if there is a catch but it seems like a good deal if you can't get the contract price.

Hi just thought to reply to myself. The only problem with this is it says DOA replacements only. I just bought the 8940 at contract price from the Verizon store. Everything about the phone is ok except the picture ID does not work so they told me to go back to the store to replace it with a new one. This might be a problem buying it from this person from ebay, but maybe you can ask the seller that question if they would replace it if something like that was wrong with the phone. The phone is nice but I can not get the picture ID to work. So I called Verizon tech support and he couldn't tell me how to get it to work since I was doing everything corectly so he told me to go back to the store and get a new one and make sure to check at th...
