Re: Just want a basic phone this one all over the map
I had a nokia 3587i. This phone is very similar in RF.. I work in a factory in which my office is interior to the building in a rural town (Otsego MI). I can receive/make calls on this phone just as I could the nokia. The speakerphone is fine, not too loud but frankly I think NEXTEL's is ridiculuous loud and bad. I use my speaker in my car...so I am like 18" away and in both directions it is fine. The voice dialing works fine and once I learned it connect on the first try each time. The keypad is plenty adequate...number and send/end keys are large...though navigation keys are somewhat small..though for a small phone I can't complain.
The only thing I am not too sure on is battery life. It seems maybe kind of short..though refreshing on my 20 minute drive to work gets me thru each day.
Overall I am very happy with this phone. I like the size and feel and am very pleased with the performance. It was all I hoped for in not spending much money and getting a basic flip phone..right now I would rate it a 8.5 - 9.0 out of 10 from a performance verus expectation scale.
