Kyocera SoHo KX1
Vibrate then ring? I wish it could vibrate and ring at same time.
My old phone could vibrate and ring, and I became accustomed to it, I'm not used to having only a ringer, or only a vibrator.
Why is it that Kyocera can make a phone that can recognize HUMAN SPEECH without error, but they can't make it vibrate and ring at the same time?
Does anyone ever complain about their cellphone not being able to vi...
OhNO it's the SoHo!!!
If you really need one, then you'll need to get one from Cellular One in a "Bubble Pack"
KWC just trying to "stuff the channel" to get rid of this P.O.S.
If your in the market for a true phone with no gimmmicks like integrated flashlights, then stick with the best MOTO, LG and Samsung.
It's a "No Brainer" people!!!
Plain and Simple
If it does it won't be on the shelf very long.
Look for it in a Bubble Pack at a Radio Shack near you. The message from "Way With Yourself" is simply not so.
All bets are off..this phone is another P.O.S from Kyocera. Stick to the sure thing..since Kyocera is sinking fast. So fast, that they need to move to Mexico. Make any sense??
Recommendation to all..stick to the real phones that work such as Nokia, LG, Samsung and MOTO.
Soho Coming to Verizon Wireless
Kyocera's website now offers a printed "Verizon version" of their Soho Users Manual. They call the Verizon version of the phone the KX-1v.

Anyway to disable the side button from turning on Vibrate?
I can't figure out how to turn off the annoying do Do DO sound
Just want a basic phone this one all over the map
Reviews of this phone are all over the place..love it and hate it. I have seen it isn't durable to a mom whose 10 year old drops it all the time. From good quality to cheap POS made in Mexico.
What is the story now after it has been around a bit. I cannot believe that Alltel and Verizon would pick up a clunker.
I like the look and less biased (seemingly) reviews tend to rate it well.
Will I be disappointed or happy with a KX1V...again all I do is make and receive calls.
Oh Nooo..Please don't send this to Verizon!
Terrible screen, poor keypad..and no camera??
Where is the value added solution from Kyocera?
Everyone knows that the KX2/KOI is a POS. Verizon can't sell it. If you have the opportunity to check out ebay, the users can't even give it away.
The KX2 was a terrible mistake, and the users are suffering. The battery life is horrible, the keypad is week and screen resolution is just plain poor.
It's just a matter of time before they stamp (made in mexico) on the back.
From the wireless arena..if your in the market for a good phone, then stick to LG, Samsung or Moto..plain and simple. The phones are "rock solid" and are tested to the 10th degree.
KWC is just plain weak...
Speaker Phone Thoughts
I like to clip my phone on my sun visor to use the speaker option but found it hard to hear the speaker well.
Do any of you guys have any thoughts on what the best phone is as far as the speaker option goes?
Does it seem for anyone that the Number 5 Key is down deeper then the other numbers?
