Nokia 6255i and VZW

I know Verizon loves to lock down phones to oblivion, but how much functionality was ripped from this phone from them? A friend of mine has this phone with MetroPOS and he was able to transfer all his custom ringtones, pictures he wanted for backgrounds, and pictures taken, right to the phone via bluetooth. If VZW didn't lock that down, I think I found my new phone 😁. *crosses fingers*

Any info you could give would be great.

Hmmm,

In the best of all possible worlds, one would think that VZW would be embarrassed that Ghetto PCS offers a far more featureful handset than VZW.

I guess that VZW is happy to lose all the customers that demand features. I seem to recall that the folks at GM were just thrilled to lose all of their aggressive customers to those little Japanese manufacturers during the 70s and 80s.
