I did a search and didn't find any info. I thought locking the keys to the phone would do the trick but don't want to have to bother with that I just want to dsable voice recording since I will never use it anyway.

It gets pushed in my pocket and it's using up the battery recording things all the time.

Thanks!

Why would you bother to reply just to be a jerk? Do you feel better now?

It is a pain because then you have to open the phone to unlock for every call whereas otherwise you could use voice dialing with the phone closed. And yeah menu * before and after each call times thousands of calls a month is a pain. Not hard or difficult but more work than just disabling the voice record which I will never use.

Apparently I was the only one who even gave a crap about your reply because no one answered your question since last night.

I actually do feel much better now newbie. I wasn't trying to be nasty in my answer. I was merely being saracastic.

I'll give you my answer again but I won't be sarcastic or a "jerk" as you said.

There is no way to disable the voice record button unless you press Menu and then Star that I have found. Try calling Nokia and asking them.

Was that a good answer?? Whoo... I sure hope it was! I wouldn't want to come off as a jerk. Man could coy imagine if I was portrayed as a jerk on phonescoop??
