Nokia 6255i / 6256i
$36 reactivation fee at Best Buys
I went to Best Buys and was told that to get a refund for the 6256i, I would have to return the phone in THREE days or risk a re-activation fee of $36.
This tells me that if I get my phone at Best Buys I had better buy the BlueTooth earbud before I buy the phone so that when I walk out of the store with the phone all of that time is spent testing it out, not shopping for a BlueTooth earbud. I also am wondering if it might not be better to wait for Verizon to sell it, since I know that they allow 15 days, which is a lot better.
I guess same goes for a charger.

Problem is Verizon stores will not carry this phone since the bluetooth is not crippled. The Razr will have no OBEX. Hell you could of bought it online for less and had 30 days to return it. Best Buy is a rip off. They don't even have the phone on display they are hiding under the counter.

What online stores offers a 30 day grace period? I would like to check it out. And why on earth would BB hide phones that they have in stock??

None of the Best Buy stores I have visited have the phone on display they are locked up in bricks large quanties under the counters. They don't want you to know they have this phone, they want you to buy some old crap so they can get rid of their inventory. And others have psoted the same thing, they don't even know they have tyhe phone you have to ask them for it, Best Buy truely sucks and it is shame that they and Radioshack are the only retailers that carry the phone. Unless you want to buy online. And like i said in a early post Radioshack is dropping Verizon and picking up Cingular in another month.

Not true, I was there yesterday went straight 2 the verizon booth and there it was..I dint even need 2 ask 4 it.It was on display and got 2 play around with it as well. What State r u in Slugphone? Im just waiting 4 my mom 2 talk 2 a real verizon rep at a corp store and make sure with them it wont mess anything up becuz its not from a real store. (Pain in the butt right?)

Yeah I know right..I talked 2 the guy at Best Buy and he told me it has only been out a couple weeks but its a pretty popular phone..It was on sale 4 $99 and a free bluetooth. I dunno where some of these people r from but I have called Best Buys all around and gone in 2 one and seen it. I dont believe that the Nokia will not get in2 stores..Maybe some of them r right but I dont c y not. I really dont care either way...I plan 2 get it anyway...lol..

Whomever told you the first post that there will be a reactivation fee they are just being 100% retarded and stupid, and that is a load of **** and you give me there store # i'll call them up and tell them they aren't allowed to do that and get them fired...
Secondly they should have the phone on display, bestbuy doesn't try to sell the old crap first, they have to follow a planogram, the good stores dont and put the newest and hottest out and make customers happy, I have all new phones out, no old crap cause one i'm a phone geek and look to see peoples faces when they dont know anything about it or even heard it, and secondly it is just right to do that.
