Stuck in headset mode
I have been using this phone for a week and it is stuck in headset mode. I have had this problem with Nokia in the past. Is anyone else having this problem?

I have heard of this happening with some of the customers I serve. Usually we just have them bring it into our service department and have a tech look at them. I would suggest removing the battery on the phone and replacing and see if it clears up or go into Menu/Settings/Enhancement Settings/Headset and futz around in there.

on the TDMA phones it was a tell tale sign of Liquid Damage. On CDMA I believe it has to do with software. Either way, bring it in, like he said...

Did u stick a regular headset in the top of the phone? Because if u did you just permanently locked your phone!...This happened to my phone and I took it back and I had to get a brand new one and they gave me the nokia headset that goes in the bottom of the phone...I do not know why they even put that headset thing on the top of the phone if it just locks your phone in headset mode but thats what happens, my advice is to just super glue the top headset jack closed when you get the new phone so that will not happen again. So take it back and they should give you a new one and that should fix the problem...hope i helped.
