Has anyone had any strange issues with the phone powering itself off... and I do not mean due to a low battery... I mean with a full charge, just out of the blue durring a call powering off-- it has happened 3 times to me in less than 2 weeks... 😕

It did that to me today. Not while on a call, though. I'd like to hope that it isn't a regular occurance.

I've never had a phone do that to me until this one... Cell South reps told me that the delay from March 1 to April 10th or whenever I got it was due to 'problems nokia was having with the phone'

Well I've had my phone since the day it was released and I haven't had that problem. But I have noticed that it seems like my phone dosen't ring as loud as it used to. And yes I do have it turned up to max. volume level.

Could it be your just getting used to it? I know i'm that way now with my current phone. Thtats why i usually change ringtones on a regular basis just so as to not get used to it so it will wake me or alert me when i have a new call.

Talked to somebody at Nokia about this, since it's continued occurring on a random basis for me. Turns out it's firmware (I think?) version related, and if I update the firmware the problem should go away.

Can Nokia email you the firmware and have a data cable to upload the firmware into the phone??

My phone powers off and on... Sent it to Nokia and came back the same. My carrier is Metro... Now on waiting list to get a new one... An excellent phone when it's not acting up... It only does it in various places; at home and not at work.
