Is there any way to get a phone from ATT, or any other carrier for that matter, without the carrier's logo? Alternatively, is it possible to remove the logo without damaging the phone?

are you referring to the "stamp" on the actual hardware or the network display shown on the standby screen?

it is rare (though not unheard-of) for some handsets coming from U.S. carriers to not have their logo emblazoned on the handset. for this series SE, just pry off the adhesive decal. other brands can be "de-badged" with gentle scratching.

as far as the standby screen network display, this will be identified by the network service your handset is currently "parked" on. to explain, my service (and SIM) may be through Cingular Wireless, but if the best available signal were that of T-Mobile, my display will show "T-Mobile" (if my handset is able to register on the network).
