Thanks for your short and authoritative response, HYPNOTIZD, any suggestions? I can do the file transfer with a USB but can't seem to make my V710 "discoverable" in Bluetooth. Are any other SEEMS needing tweaked besides 041a, off 6a, bit 0?
I had a V710 that worked fine until one day it just ceased connecting with the service provider. I suspected a pushed Firmware upgrade but was unable to confirm that. I was on the road at the far corner of the country and needed a phone bad so I took it in to my service providers store and they replaced it, no questions asked, with another V710 that has newer firmware (8700.02.03.00R).

Shop for accessories specifically compatible with the Motorola V710.
